Kathrine A. Scott, age 50, of Jasper, FL. passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer. Kathy was born in Southington, Connecticut to the late John and Beatrice Scott on December 28, 1963. She worked in banking and was co-owner of Kat-Face Forest Products. She was extremely gifted in woodworking and worked alongside her husband building and crafting beautiful wood pieces. She moved to the Jasper area some 10 years ago from Leesburg.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Burton; one brother, Dana Scott; one sister, Diane M. Wilcox; step son, Bob and step daughter, Becca; one granddaughter, Olivia.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
