Kathryn Lyons Bell, age 81, passed away on September 23, 2021 at Solaris Healthcare in Lake City, FL. following a year- long battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Kathryn was born in Suwannee County and was the only child born to the late Fred and Blanche Carmichael Lyons. She was raised in Dowling Park, FL. and was a graduate of Suwannee County High, Class of 1958. She met and married the love of her life, Lester Bell and they made White Springs, FL. their home while raising their two children. Kathryn worked with the Hamilton County School Board for nearly 30 years as a school bus driver for South Hamilton Elementary. She retired to take care of her husband Lester until his passing in March of 2017. Kathryn loved to cook, read and do crossword puzzles. She and Lester spent many days sitting on the porch reading the newspapers and watching the birds and squirrels. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Lester.

Survivors include her two children: her son, Freddie Bell and his wife Beth of Lake City, FL.; her daughter, Pam Bell Marvin of Jasper, FL.; her grandchildren, Michelle Jones (Bryan), Kimberly Crowder (Fiancé Jay Golub), Steven Bell (Kaci), Heather DeRocco (Adam), Amber Bell and Ashley Marvin; her great grandchildren, Bailey, Audrey, Bo, Haylee, Emily, Paula and Easton.

Graveside services were held at Dowling Park Cemetery on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.
