Kenneth Brian Izell, age 35, of Statenville, GA. passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Shands U.F. from injuries sustained in an ATV crash on Feb. 11, 2014. Brian was a native and former resident of Jasper, FL. He was a heavy equipment operator for B & E Hauling. Survivors include his wife, Katie Murphy Izell of Statenville; one daughter, Katie Izell, Jasper, FL.; four sons, Cody Izell, Statenville, GA., Lane Izell, Jasper, FL., Maximus Izell, Ocala, FL. and Levi Colt Izell, Statenville, GA.; his father, William "Bo" Izell, Jasper, FL. ; his mother and step-father, Connie and Tim Nielsen, Kingsland, GA.; one brother, Jason Izell, Statenville, GA.; one sister, Roxanne Amerson, Jasper, FL.; a granddaughter, Haley Teate; his grandmother, Ms. Ruby Izell, Jasper, FL.; his mother-in-law and her husband, Lisa and Edward Murphy, Tampa, FL.; his father-in-law and his wife, Timothy and Beverly Murphy, Jasper, FL. Funeral services were held Thursday, February 27, 2014 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home with Bro. Joey Castleberry and Bro. Byron Ogburn officiating. Interment will follow in Hebron Cemetery.
