Mr. Kervie Combass 92 of Keystone Heights passed away at his home Sunday, May 30, 2021.

Kervie was born November 5, 1928, in Jasper to Henry and Lenora "Linnie" (Deas) Combass. Mr. Combass had served in the United States Army during the Korean War. In 1967 he moved from Jacksonville to Keystone Heights and retired from Clay Electric following 24 years of service as their Right Away Foreman. He was a faithful and longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church; he enjoyed fox and deer hunting along with being a mechanic. Mr. Combass loved everyone and never met a stranger. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by 6 siblings.

He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of nearly 73 years Irene (Donaldson) Combass and their four children Sandra Lenore, Glynis Ann, Kervie Duane and Keith Henry all of Keystone Heights along with a brother Lonnie Combass of Jasper. He was also lovingly called "Papa" by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A Home Going service for Mr. Combass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 3, 2021, in the Trinity Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Keystone Heights Cemetery.
