Obituary

Lance Alan Strozier, Sr. age 77, of Jasper, FL. passed away at his home on Thursday, November 18, 2021, following an illness of some time.

Lance was a native of Washington, Georgia. As a young man he joined the United States Navy. While in the Navy he worked in the capacity of an official military photographer. His missions included travels to Vietnam and other areas of interest to the military during that time. Following discharge from the Navy, Lance remained a part of the D.C. scene and could often be found photographing events at the White House and up on Capital Hill. He was around during the "Just Say No" campaign during the time President Ronald Reagan and his wife Nancy fought for our young people against the war on drugs. In addition to being a gifted photographer, Lance was also a talented artist and enjoyed spending many hours drawing and playing around on his guitar. He loved his family and just missed a January wedding anniversary that would have marked 57 years with the love of his life.

Survivors include his wife, Priscilla Jackson Stozier; two sons, Lance Strozier, Jr. of Greensboro, Maryland and Timothy Strozier and his wife Debbie of Ringgold, GA; his daughter, Lea Vaughn, Edinburgh, Scotland; his brother, William Strozier and his wife Nyrma of Hiram, GA; four grandchildren, Kai, Katie, Hannah and Austin.

Per his request, Lance will be cremated.
