Lanora Thelma Mathis Law, age 78, of Jennings, FL. passed away, Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL. following an extended illness. Ms. Law was born on September 5, 1933 to the late Roy and Sallie Morgan Mathis. She was a homemaker. Ms. Law was preceded in death by her husband, Charlton N. Law, Sr. and a son, Anthony Todd Law.

Survivors include two sons, Charlton Law, Jr. (Belinda), Jennings, FL. and Lowell Law (Lisa), Live Oak, FL.; daughter-in-law, Donna Law, Jennings, FL.; three brothers, Thomas Mathis and Lynwood Mathis, both of Echols County, GA. and Gary Mathis, Jennings, FL.; three sisters, Fay Law, Jennings, FL., RoyAnn Swindell, Alachua, FL. and Evelyn Carter, Lowndes County, GA.; 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 2, 2012 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home with Mr. Jacob Gwen and Mr. Nick Law officiating. Interment followed in Oak Grove Cemetery.
