Linda Ann Miller, age 56, of Ft. White, FL. passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL. following a lengthy battle with ALS.

Funeral services for Linda were held Wednesday, May 18, 2016 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home with Pastor Gerald Smith officiating.

Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper.

Linda was born in Jasper, FL. on April 25, 1960. She was a longtime resident of Lake City, FL. Linda loved her Lord and her personality reflected the spirit that comes from knowing him personally. She loved deeply and cared about others that needed help. She was always a hard worker and worked until her health declined and she could no longer go. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Alton D. Miller, Sr.

Survivors include her beloved partner, David Wilds of Ft. White, FL.; her mother, Charlotte Bouchette; her brother, Alton D. Miller, Jr. (Terry); all of Jasper, FL.; sisters, Vicky Arbie (Joe), Lake City, FL., Beverly Long (Clarence), Horseshoe Beach, FL. and Tiffany Thomas (Pat), Lake City, FL.; her step-mother, Carolina Miller, Jasper, FL.

May is ALS awareness month. How fitting that Linda might bring awareness through her death to the very illness that took her at such a young age. She fought so hard and would want others to be aware that there is hope and help to be found.
