Ms. Lois Henderson Jones, age 94, of Statenville, GA. passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Pruitt Healthcare Center in Valdosta, GA following a lengthy illness. Ms. Jones was born in Echols County, GA on April 9, 1922 to the late Jack and Lizzie Cox Henderson. Lois always had a green thumb and operated a very successful nursery for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, D.H. Jones and her son, Charles Edward Bostick.

Survivors include her two step-daughters, Betty Carter of Warner Robins, GA. and Shirley Perry of Statenville, GA.; one brother, Mr. Ben Henderson of Fargo, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Sherry Reeves, Pamela McFeeters, Timothy Carter, Phillip Carter, Devonne Taylor, Charles Bostick and Kenneth Bostick; several great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 1, 2016 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper, FL. with Rev. Jaime Register officiating. Interment followed in the Statenville Cemetery.
