Lois Marie Parrott, born November 11, 1947, in Jasper, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025, in Valdosta, Georgia.

Lois lived a life rooted in love, devotion, and the simple joys that brought her peace. She enjoyed thrift store treasures, crossword puzzles, sewing, and spending quiet moments at home. Her lasagna was a favorite among family, and she had a fondness for fried foods—so long as someone else did the frying. Russell often admired her sensible, steady nature, as she faithfully kept the home running smoothly with care and love. She was a proud Army wife and an animal lover, always showing compassion to those around her.

Lois devoted her life to being a wife and mother, raising her three sons with strong values and faith. She believed deeply in family, responsibility, and kindness, and those beliefs were reflected in the way she lived each day. She cherished childhood fishing trips with her mother and carried her appreciation for peaceful moments throughout her life.

Lois will be remembered for her quiet strength, gentle spirit, and the countless ways she showed love through everyday acts of care. Her presence brought comfort, steadiness, and warmth to her family, and her memory will remain deeply cherished.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Russell Parrott; her sons, James Parrott, David Parrott (Amy), and Kevin Parrott (Emily); twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Rosa Grover.

Funeral services will be held January 5, 2026, at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
