Ms. Lorene Fry, age 92, of Valdosta, GA passed away early Friday the 26th day of August, 2011 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA. Ms. Fry was born on November 21, 1918 in Echols County, GA. to the late William and Eula Mae Tomlinson. She was a homemaker and was a member of Hebron Primitive Baptist Church near Jasper. Ms. Fry was preceded in death by husbands, Alfred Fry, Eason Stalvey and Walter Phillips.

Survivors include one son, Carroll Phillips and his wife Carolyn of Deland, FL.; two daughters, Betty Jean Ethridge, Valdosta, GA and June Phillips, Havana, FL.; seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, August 29, 2011 at Redland Baptist Church in Lowndes County. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
