Lorenzo Gallegos, age 96, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012 at his home following a lengthy illness. Mr. Gallegos was born in Mexico to Cruz and Alcadia Ortiz Gallegos. He moved to the Dade County area where he farmed. In 1987 he moved his family to Hamilton County. Mr. Gallegos was predeceased by his wife, Francisco Gallegos who died November 17, 2010. He was also preceded in death by a son, Pablo and a daughter, Clara.
Survivors include five sons, Santos, Jose, Leonel, Fernando and Lorenzo (Jr).; three daughters, Celia Renteria, Juana and Emma Gallegos; 51 grandchildren, 131 great grandchildren and 38 great, great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 19, 2012 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery.
