IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lottie Faye
Moody
November 27, 1950 – March 14, 2020
Lottie Faye Moody, age 69, of Jasper, FL. passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA. following a brief illness.
Lottie was a native of Pickens County, Alabama. She was born on November 27, 1950 to the late J.T. and Muggie Mildred Sanders McCrackin. Lottie made her way to Florida and landed in Jasper where she worked at the sewing factory for a number of years. Lottie truly had a heart of gold. She was kind and would do anything for anybody but she was quick to point out that she believed you had to try to help yourself before you ask someone to do for you. Lottie tried to see the good in every person she met and treated everyone the same until you proved her wrong. She loved her family so very much and by family that meant blood and adopted. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Stacy Huffman and sons, Johnny Stephens and Billy Moody.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Hollis "Porky" Moody; her son, Michael Huffman and her daughter, Kristy Cowell; her two sisters, Gaye Harcrow and Charlene Newell; her 14 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews that loved her dearly.
Per her request Lottie was cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
