Louise Cofield Gray, age 83, of Statenville, Georgia passed away April 6, 2011 at her home following an illness of some time. Mrs. Gray was born August 29, 1927 in Echols County, Georgia to the late L.A. and Bessie Bryant Altman. She worked in food service for a number of years and was a caretaker. Mrs. Gray was a member of Statenville Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Gray and three sons, William H. Joyce, Jr., Larry F. Joyce and Jimmy L. Joyce.

Survivors include one son, George A. Joyce, Statenville, GA.; two daughters, Aline Powell and Juanita Toal, both of Statenville, GA.; one brother, W.H. Altman, Valdosta, GA.; two sisters, Alice McClelland, Arcadia, FL. and Nora Henderson, Statenville, GA.; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Hebron Cemetery in Jasper, FL. with Pastor Jamie Register officiating.
