This obituary has been placed on our website as a courtesy to the Petty family.
Mrs. Petty was predeceased by three sisters, Gladys Davis, Connie Register and Mary Edna Tomlinson and one brother, James Corbett.
Mrs. Petty still has many nieces and nephews living in Jasper and surrounding counties.
Our sympathies are extended to her family and friends.




Lucille Petty, 93, of Jacksonville, FL went home to the Lord on July 30, 2016.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was proud of her family and had a passion for children. Many knew her as "Gran." She was known for her feisty, yet good sense of humor. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Lucille is survived by her children; Martin Petty (Penny), Cindy Bosman, five grandchildren; Chris Petty, Virginia Petty, Leigha Wiese (Joseph), Lisa Hylton (Kyle), Brian Bosman, seven great-grandchildren;  her two sisters, Helen Sears and Myrtice Hale and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 6, 2016  in Hardage- Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin, 11801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32223.



Burial followed at Evergreen Cemetery, 4535 Main St N, Jacksonville, FL 32206
