Obituary
Mabel Bass Sowell, age 81, of Jasper, FL. passed away Friday, November 2, 2012 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, Florida following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Sowell was born on February 11, 1931 in Jennings, Florida to the late John F. and Eugene Elizabeth Bass. She was a homemaker and member of Eternal Hope Church of God.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, George T. Sowell, Sr., Jasper, FL.; two sons, George Sowell, Jr. and his wife Jeanette of Pensacola, FL. and John David Sowell, Sr. and his wife Linda of Jasper, FL.; one sister, Betty Mosley, Valdosta, GA.; five grandchildren and one great grandson.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 5, 2012 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Langford and Rev. Fred Watson officiating.
Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery, Jasper.
