Margaret was a woman of strong faith, which was evident in all she did. She was a member of Burnam Christian Church in Jennings, FL. She found peace and joy in God's love and was often found listening to the hymns of the Gaithers and the sermons of Charles Stanley.

She had a zest for life and a love for seafood and sweets that never waned. With her sharp mind and encouraging spirit, Margaret remained a light and guide for her family until the very end.
Margaret is preceded in death by the father of her children, James Bryant "J.B." Deas, her husband, Arthur Houle, her brother, Arvel Drury and her sister, Judy Drury. Margaret is survived by her four daughters: Denise Depew of Jennings, FL; Connie Moore (Jimmy) of Lakeland, GA; Donna Deas of Valdosta, GA; and Mary Welch (Darwin) of Thomasville, GA. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren: Michael (Christina) Depew, Suzanne Depew, Tim (Erica) King, Daniel (Kim) King, Mary Ellen (Josh) Altman, Nathan Alex (Samantha) Wachob, and Zach Wachob; 10 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, four step grandchildren, and 11 step great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished deeply.
