Margaret Lucy Hurst, age 83, of Jennings, FL. passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Shands Live Oak. Margaret was born in Kissimmee, FL. on October 15, 1932 and moved to Hamilton County in 1964 from the Orlando area. She worked at the sewing factory to support her young family before going to work at Suwannee Valley Nursing Center and later Sheffield's Truck Stop.

Survivors include five sons, Daniel Hurst (Emily), Deland, FL., Caroll Hurst, Jennings, FL., Edward Hurst (Cynthia), Jasper, Fl., John Hurst (Nita), Jennings, FL. and Billy Hurst, Jennings, FL.; four daughters, Caroline Murray, Patricia Vinson (Walt), Jasper, FL., Diane Langford, Jacksonville, FL. and Donna Sue Tharp (Waylon), Jasper, FL.; one sister, Lottie Taylor, Orlando, FL.; 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper, FL. with Bro. Edgar Wood officiating. Interment followed at Friendship Baptist Church near Jasper.
