Margie Irene Richardson, age 69, of Green Cove Springs, FL. and former resident of Jasper passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 following a lengthy illness.

Irene was born on November 14, 1951 in Lakeland, Georgia to the late Bub Thomas and Muriel Stewart. She was a God called homemaker for He knew right where her gifts would flourish. She was a wonderful wife and mother. She loved deeply and had a big heart. She was faithful to her God, her church and her family. She raised her children in a way that they might know the Lord personally. Irene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Walter Richardson and sadly Irene was preceded by her daughter Hope Swift just five days ago on Oct. 16, 2021. The family rejoices in their reunion in heaven.

Survivors include two sons, James Richardson, Rochester, NY and Joseph Richardson (Stacy), Jasper, FL.; her son "by" law, Michael Swift of Lake City, FL.; her brother, Jerry McCoy, North Carolina; her sister, Margaret Lister, Tampa, FL.; five grandchildren.

A joint Celebration of Life was held for Irene and Hope on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Live Oak Assembly of God Church in Live Oak, FL.
