Marjorie Earnestine Griner Lee of Jasper, FL. passed away at Suwannee Valley Nursing Center at the age of 97 on Friday, July 24, 2020. Marjorie was a native of Jasper, FL., born March 13, 1923 to the late J.W. E. Griner and Bennie Mae Clardy Griner. Marjorie was married to the love of her life Henry Lucious Lee, best known as Nip to family and friends. The two shared 68 years together as husband and wife until his passing in April of 2014. Marjorie began working in her mother's beauty salon at the age of 14. She later owned and operated Marjorie's Beauty Salon in downtown Jasper. She loved her customers and worked well into her 80's for that reason. She and Nip were faithful members of Jasper First United Methodist Church as long as their health permitted.

Survivors include her two sons, Charles Henry Lee and his wife Barbara and Christopher Thomas Lee; her sister and brother-in-law, Janeace and Ron Crawford; four grandchildren, Stephanie Lee, Joshua Lee, Elbert Carter, Jr. and Richie Carter (Jodi); three great grandchildren, Christopher Allen Lee, Zachary Lee and Spencer Carter. There are numerous nieces and nephews also surviving that she loved very much.

Graveside services were held at Arabia Cemetery near Homerville on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.
