Marvin Lewis Norman, age 53, of Jasper, FL. passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 3, 2017 at North Florida Regional Medical Center while undergoing heart surgery.
Marvin was a native and former resident of Gainesville, FL. born March 21, 1964. He worked for many years as a truck driver, mechanic and industrial construction worker. He enjoyed working on cars and trucks and often did so for others to help them out. While Marvin might be characterized as cantankerous by his family and friends at times, he was also known to have a big heart and would help others who might be having a tough time.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Ann Wyers Norman, Jasper, FL.; four children, Adam Lewis Norman (Brittany), Colorado Springs, CO., Marvin Lee Norman, Jasper, FL., Teena Marie Perez, Gainesville, FL. and Priscilla Perez, High Springs, FL.; honorary children, Larissa Wyers and Joe Daughtery; his mother, Barbara Singer, Lake City, FL.; one brother, James Norman, Lake Butler, FL.; one sister, Shirley Woodham, Lake City, FL.; his mother-in-law, Mary Lou Wyers and 10 grandchildren, Madison, Mason, Jaxson, Cason, Bryson, Dakotah, Devon, Claire, Novi and Easton. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Norman and his father-in-law whom he thought the world of, Felix Wyers.
Memorial services were held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Jasper, FL.
