Marvin "Buck" Rodgers, age 91, of Wellborn, FL. passed away Saturday, January 2, 2010 at his home following an extended illness. Rodgers was born in Statenville, Georgia to the late William and Lula Simpson Rodgers. He was a former resident of Hamilton County, FL. and Lakeland, FL. Mr. Rodgers worked for 23 years for the City of Ft. Pierce before retiring to Suwannee County. He was a member of Pine Grove Methodist Church in Suwannee County.
Mr. Rodgers was preceded in death by his wife, Milbra Rodgers in 1986.

Survivors include three sons, Russell Rodgers (Deloris), Wellborn, FL., William Rodgers (Patricia) and Johnnie Rodgers, all of Ft. Pierce, FL.; three daughters, Wanda Johnson (Bobby), Ft. Pierce, Fl., Sharon McNabb (Kerry), Palmetto, FL., and Debbie Stansbury (Richard), Ft. Pierce, FL.; 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 5, 2010 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper, FL.

Interment followed at Pine Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in Suwannee County, FL.
