Mary Ellen Fitzpatrick, 90, of Fayetteville, Georgia passed away September 8, 2021. She was born December 8, 1930, to Floyd and Esther Peterson in Howell, Georgia. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Barbara Bennett, Brothers; Floyd and Tony Peterson, husband of 18 years, Joseph Fitzpatrick; and her son, Greg Page.

She is survived by her daughter, Marcy Page Perry (Frank); brother, Robert Peterson; sister, Thelma Lucas; grandsons, Caleb Perry and Lewis Page Fusco (Kasey); great-grandchildren, Francesca Fusco and Page Fusco; along with many extended family, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Mary began working at 15 at the telephone company in Jasper, Florida where she attended high school. Worked as a supervisor and traveled extensively for the state of Florida in tourism. Recipes and cooking were her passion as was music. She was a gracious hostess and loved cooking for and entertaining family and friends. She sang and whistled all day, every day. She enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, Joe, in her retirement years. She loved reading, gardening, and helping family and friends. She believed in exercise to stay healthy and learning new things to keep her mind sharp. She belonged to the Providence Methodist Church in Fayetteville, Georgia.

The family will have a graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper, Florida, September 30, 2021, at 11:30 AM.
