Mary Evelyn Capan Harnage, age 85, of Orange Park, FL. passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Signature Health Care in Orange Park, FL. Mary was a native of Houston County, Alabama born on April 17, 1927 to the late Jake and Repsie Capan. She was a former resident of Jennings, FL. Mrs. Harnage was preceded in death by her husband, Leland T. Harnage and a brother, Dorman Capan.

Survivors include two sons, Gayward Hendry (Susan), Green Cove Springs, FL. and Byron Hendry (Martha), Orange Park, FL.; two daughters, Brenda Hamby, Lake Park, GA. and Leah Luke, Griffin (Gene), Griffin, GA.; one brother, Charles Capan (Beatrice), Greenville, FL.; a sister-in-law, Nadine Capan, Panama City, FL.; nine grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper, FL. with Gene Luke officiating. Interment followed at Greenville Cemetery in Greenville, FL.
