Mary Magdalene Morris Stormant, of White Springs, FL. passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Solaris Healthcare in Lake City, FL. at the age of 82.

Mary was born on April 17, 1940 in Columbia County, FL. to the late Jimmy and Louise Milligan Morris.

Mary was always a hard worker even from a young age. She was at one time, co-owner and operator of Stormant's Grocery in White Springs. When she had any extra time she enjoyed gardening, painting and sewing but she had priorities and that included spending time with her family and serving the Lord. Mary was a member at Long Branch Congregational Methodist Church and attended faithfully as long as her health permitted. She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Bud Stormant.

Survivors include four sons and their wives, Bryan Stormant (Robbie) of White Springs, FL., Jimmy Stormant (Pam) of Rocky Creek, FL., Wayne Stormant (Rose) and Neal Stormant, all of White Springs, FL.; her sister, Rose Morris Green of Jacksonville, FL.; 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Also surviving is her husband, Murray Stamper.

Funeral services were held Friday, October 14, 2022 at Long Branch Congregational Church near White Springs with Bro. Tommy Lindsey and Bro. Randy Ogburn officiating. Interment followed at Prospect Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
