Matthew Shane Sutherland, age 19, of Jennings, FL./Madison, FL. passed away at his home on Saturday, April 11, 2020.

Matthew was born on December 30, 2000 in Palatka, FL. to Michael and Stephanie Sutherland Raymond. He made his home in St. Augustine, FL. for a number of years before moving to Madison some four and a half years ago. Matt was your typical 19 year old. He worked for a time at the Mellow Mushroom in St. Augustine and loved it. He enjoyed skateboarding and playing video games. He was a true competitor.

Survivors include his mother, Stephanie Raymond of Madison, FL.; his father, Michael Raymond of Newnan, GA.; his sister, Leala Raymond; his grandparents, Brenda Hall, Randy and Sherry Sutherland.

A memorial service for Matt will be announced at a later date.
