Obituary
Mattie M. Deas, age 83, of Jasper, FL. passed away Monday, January 12, 2009 at Suwannee Valley Nursing Center following a brief illness. Mattie was born July 22, 1925 to the late John and Erie Mae Phillips Bonnell. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Glover Deas, Jr. (Mary), Moultrie, GA.; one brother, Mack Bonnell, Pensacola, FL.; one sister, Frances McLeod, Ashburn, GA.; three grandchildren and one great grandson. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services were held Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Randy Ogburn officiating.
