Maxine D. Motes, age 81, of Ocala, FL. passed away at the Good Samaritan Center in Dowling Park, FL.
Ms. Motes was a former resident of Hamilton County, FL. She was born on January 16, 1937 to the late Charlie and Minnie Williamson. She worked as a store clerk. Ms. Motes enjoyed sewing and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband Denzel Motes in 1983 and was also preceded by her daughter, Joyce Durrence.
Survivors include one daughter, Kay Wagner and two sons, Wesley Motes and Dennie Durrance; four brothers, Jerry, Roy, Jr., and James Williamson; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Ft. Meade, FL.
