Merry Tompkins, age 62, of Jasper, FL. passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Shands U.F. in Gainesville, FL. following an extended illness. Merry was a native of Orchard Park, New York born November 27, 1952 to the late Ross and Alma Mosley. When her health was better she worked as a bookkeeper. She and her husband Lee moved to Hamilton County some six years ago.

Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Lee Tompkins; two sons, Jared Gantzer and Steve Gantzer; one daughter, Sammi G. Johnson; one brother, Ted Mosley; 11 grandchildren.

Per her wishes Merry will be cremated.

Memorial services were held Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper, FL. with Rev. Roger Hutto officiating.
