Obituary
Mervis G. Daniels, age 95, of Jasper, FL. passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA.
Mervis was born in Jasper, FL. on January 3, 1919 to the late James and Arrilla Massey Green. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben, her parents and several siblings. Mervis was a wonderful seamstress and took in work for many in the community, sewing new clothes and repairing what could be repaired. She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. Mervis was also a faithful member at Jasper First Baptist Church and will be missed by all who knew her in the church and her community.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services were held Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Roger Hutto officiating.
