Michael Houston Goodman, age 67, of Jasper, FL. passed away at Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City, FL. on February 19, 2021.

Michael was born on June 30, 1953 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to the late J.T. and Mary Haddock Franklin. As a young man, Michael served his country in the United States Army. He was a retired welder. In his spare time, Michael loved to dip a line in the water and catch whopper fish or so his stories would go. He moved to Jasper from Tennessee last year to be with his family.

Survivors include his wife Gail Goodman; his children, Michael Goodman of Arkansas, Steven Goodman (Sonja), Misty Goodman and Christy Walton (Richard) all of Lawrenceburg, TN and Ella Strickland (Michael) of Jasper, FL.; his sister, Lisa Kimbrell (Jeff) of Lawrenceburg, TN; and several children.

Per his wishes, Mr. Goodman was cremated.
