IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael Thomas
Rucks, Sr.
November 28, 1956 – July 18, 2025
Michael Thomas Rucks, of Jennings, Florida, passed away on July 18, 2025, with his devoted wife, Bonnie, by his side. He was born on November 28, 1956, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Ralph and Marcella Rucks.
Michael was a hardworking, self-employed dairy farmer, dedicating his life to the land and animals he cared for. He and Bonnie were a team in every sense of the word — working the farm side by side, supporting each other through long days and challenges, and celebrating the fruits of their labor together.
When he wasn't tending to the farm, Michael enjoyed fishing, and just as in all things, Bonnie was right there with him. They were truly inseparable — partners in work, play, and life.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie Foster Rucks; his sons, Michael Rucks, Jr. (Amanda) of Georgia and Justin Rucks of Jennings, Florida; his brother, Clifford Rucks of Okeechobee; and his cherished grandchildren, Kaitlin, Emma, and Thorin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Marcella Rucks, and his sisters, Judy Rucks and Alice Rucks.
Michael's family will honor his life privately, holding close the love, memories, and example he left behind.
