Mildred V. Parr, age 73, of Fargo, GA passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Lake City Medical Center in Lake City, FL. following an extended illness. Mildred was born in Needmore, GA on November 19, 1944 to the late Ben and Inez Hunter Henderson. She worked for many years at Hamilton County Memorial Hospital first as a C.N.A. and later promoted to supervisor over shipping and receiving for the hospital. When she was able to retire and enjoy life, she enjoyed working in the yard with her flowers and loved to go fishing. Mildred was a home body and enjoyed nothing better than being at home with family.

Survivors include her husband of over 50 years, Billy Ray Parr, Fargo, GA.; two daughters, Lorie Parr, Fargo, GA. and Lisa Lynn Amerson (Billy) of Jasper, FL.; one sister, Velma Knight, Statenville, GA.; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church (Boney Bluff Cemetery) near Fargo.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper, FL. between the hours of 5:00-7:00 p.m.
