Nick C. Law, Jr., age 72, of Jasper, FL, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at his home with his family.   He was born on August 6, 1952 to Nick Law, Sr. and Fay Law.  He was preceded in death by his father, Nick Law, Sr. and his sister Pam Law.  He worked different jobs throughout his life, including residential construction, building official, and a preacher of the gospel.

Survivors include his childhood sweetheart and wife of 54 years, Aline Dasher Law; his son Mark (Melba) Law of Jasper, FL; his daughter, Nickie (Jacob) Gwin of Spring Hill, TN; his mother, Fay Mathis Law of Jennings, FL; his brother, Greg (Lynn) Law of Jennings; and his grandchildren, James Law, Justin Law, Micah Gwin, Kate Gwin, and Emily Gwin.

Nick was a man of strong faith that was evident to everyone that knew him.  He loved to talk about the Bible and his grandkids.  He was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ.  Nick, better known as "Papa" by his family that loved him, enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his beloved grandkids.

Nick's life will be honored with a funeral service on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper, FL, with Jacob Gwin officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., prior to the service. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
