Mr. Nick C. Law, Sr., age 81, of Jennings, Florida passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, Florida. Mr. Law was the son of the late Rafel and Nellie Elizabeth Law born on March 16, 1931 in Suwannee County, Florida. He was retired from the Department of Agriculture where he was an agricultural law enforcement officer. In his spare time he loved farming, hunting, fishing and trapping. Mr. Law was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Law was predeceased by his daughter, Pamela Law and a great grandson.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Wanda Fay Mathis Law, Jennings; two sons, Nick C. Law, Jr. and his wife Aline of Jasper and Gregory Bane Law and his wife Lynn of Jennings; two brothers, Jewitt Law, Gainesville, FL. and Drew Law, Lake City, FL.; one sister, Verdie Moore, Lewisville, Texas; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; caretakers, Marcella Warren and Reatha Anderson.

Funeral services were held Thursday, January 24, 2013 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home with Mr. Mike Johnson officiating. Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery.
