Nora Helen Corbett Sears, age 90, of Jasper, FL. passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Suwannee Valley Nursing Center in Jasper where she made her home for the last several years.

Helen was a native of Lake Park, Georgia. She was born on June 14, 1929 to the late Ewell and Sarah Hiers Corbett. She met and marred the love of her life William Sears on February 11, 1950. She worked for a time at Occidental/PCS, Hamilton County Bank, was a temp mail carrier, all in addition to bookkeeping for her husband in the family business, Sears Garage. She was preceded by her husband in July of 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents and siblings, James Corbett, Connie Register, Mary Edna Tomlinson, Lucille Petty and Gladys Davis.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ben and Twyla Sears of Live Oak, FL.; one sister, Myrtis Hale of Tavares, FL.; and two grandsons, Kailer and Kolson Sears.

Graveside services were held on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 in Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper, FL. with Rev. Milton Smith officiating.
