Odell Watson, Jr., passed away peacefully on April 30, 2024, in Metter, GA, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on June 3, 1951, in Hahira, GA, to the late Odell and Julia Mae Watson.

Odell found joy in life's simplest treasures. Whether it was the gentle sway of a shade tree on a warm, breezy day or the satisfaction of tending to his yard, he cherished the tranquility of these moments. His consistency in nurturing his surroundings was a reflection of his gentle and caring nature.

Odell leaves behind cherished memories and will forever be remembered by his surviving brothers, Billy Joe Watson of Morvin, GA, and John Watson (Jenny) of Jennings, FL. Odell's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

A graveside service to honor Odell's life will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Live Oak City Cemetery in Live Oak, FL.
