Olan Dedge, age 57, of Jasper, FL. passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Haven Hospice following an extended illness. Olan was born in Gainesville, FL. on May 15, 1956 to the late Paul Curtis and Nina Corbett Dedge. Olan was a graduate of Hamilton County High School. He was a lifelong resident of Jasper and was a heavy equipment operator.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Sharan Dedge, Jasper, FL.; one son and one daughter, Paul Curtis Dedge and Elizabeth Kalene Dedge, both of Jasper, FL.; his step children, Teddy Stalnaker, Panama City, FL., Missy Voyles, Live Oak, FL., Veronica Land, Valarie Carter and Lisa Johnson, all of Jasper; his sister, Myra Cox, Jasper, FL.; numerous grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 8, 2014 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home with the Rev. Douglas Hodsdon officiating.
