Pamela Denise Brumfield

Pamela Denise Brumfield, 61, passed away at home in Valdosta, Georgia, on October 29, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Pamela was born in Hahira, Georgia, to Ola Junior and Mary Herndon. 

She owned and operated a cleaning business and enjoyed talking on the phone, playing bingo, visiting the beach, and getting her manicures and pedicures. Pamela had a special love for animals, especially cats and dogs. She was always willing to take in strays and give them a loving home. Her beloved cat, Prissy, held a special place in her heart. Pamela also enjoyed attending church at About My Father's Ministry in Valdosta, Georgia.

Pamela was married to Buddy Harris and was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ola Junior and Mary Herndon.

She is survived by her husband, Buddy Harris; her children, Wayne Brumfield, Lee Brumfield, and James Harris; her daughter-in-law, Athena Harris; her brothers, Randy Herndon and Ronnie Herndon; her nieces, Dazey Herndon and Brittany Herndon (Evan); her grandchildren, Nattalee, Daniel, Rayleigh, Willow, Zach, Delilah, Nolan, and Elliot; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Herndon Cemetery.
