Paul Franklin Dampier, age 72, of Dowling Park, FL. passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019 at the Dowling House where he made his home the last few years. Paul was born in Lakeland, Georgia on September 30, 1946 to the late Robert and Annie Lou Smith Dampier. He was raised in Jasper, Florida and graduated from Jasper High School. Paul worked as a supervisor for many years at Del-Cook Lumber Company in Adel, Georgia. He later settled in Suwannee County following his retirement. Paul was preceded in death by three brothers, Mack Dampier, Arlie Tyson and S.B. Tyson.

Survivors include two brothers, Robert Dampier of Jasper, Florida and Joe Dampier of Jennings, Florida; a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Friday, August 2, 2019 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper, FL. with Bro. Josh Altman officiating. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery.
