Paul Kenneth Swilley, a longtime resident of Live Oak, FL, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on April 24, 1943, in Jasper, FL, he was the beloved son of Hugh and Suzie Swilley.

Paul was a hardworking and devoted truck driver, dedicating many years to the profession, most recently with Pritchett Trucking. Beyond his work, he found joy in fishing and playing the guitar. Music was a lifelong passion, particularly for bluegrass and gospel, though in his younger days, he also played country music. He enjoyed performing at peanut boilings with local bands and even graced the stage at the Bull Run in Georgia.

Paul was a man of unwavering faith, holding a deep love for Jesus. Though not formally a member of a specific church, he cherished worshiping with various congregations, embracing the fellowship of believers wherever he went.

He leaves behind a loving family who will treasure his memory forever. Paul is survived by his two sons, Paul Gregory Swilley (Diane) of Mayo, FL, and Paul Samuel Swilley of Mayo, FL; his daughters, Kathy Aldridge (James) of Ocala, FL, and Lannie McDaniel of Cartersville, GA. He is also survived by his brothers, Marvin Swilley (Francis) of McDonough, GA, and Eldon Swilley of McDonough, GA; his sister, Lagran Holton of Jasper, FL; and his cherished grandchildren: Melissa Aldridge, Sandy Aldridge, T.J. Swilley, Nicholas Swilley, Brett McDaniel, Stephanie McDaniel, and Kimberly Newberry.

Paul's life will be celebrated with a graveside service on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Geiger Cemetery in Jasper, FL. Family and friends are welcome to gather for a viewing at 10:00 a.m. before the service.

Paul's presence, his music, his faith, and his love will be dearly missed, but his memory will continue to inspire those who knew him.
