Pauline Hurst Hogan, age 70, of Jasper, FL. passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL. following an extended illness.
Funeral services were held Thursday, January 16, 2014 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper, FL. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper.
Pauline was born in Jasper, FL. on October 22, 1943 to the late Wiley and Geneva Allen Hurst. She taught elementary school in Hamilton County for 28 years and was a member of Bright Pond Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, George "G.B." Hogan, Jasper; two sons, David Hogan and his wife Rose Marie of Jasper and Jeffrey Hogan and his wife Christie of Lake City, FL.; one brother, Billy Hurst, Live Oak, FL.; one sister, Dorothy Vanosdol, Dowling Park, FL.; one grandson, Jordan "Sugarbear" Hogan; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
