Penny Susanne Wood, age 45, of Jacksonville, FL. passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 5, 2012. She recently moved to the Jacksonville area from Gainesville, FL. and was a former resident of Live Oak, FL. Penny was born on February 4, 1967 to Winston and Charlotte Pittman. She was employed by Country Inn and Suites in Gainesville, Florida.

Survivors include her husband, Troy Wood, Jacksonville, FL.; one son, Josh Wood, Detroit, Michigan; her mother, Charlotte Pittman, Live Oak, FL.; two sisters, Ashley Pittman, Live Oak, FL. and Laurie Pittman Williams, Wellborn, FL.

Graveside services were held on Friday, October 12, 2012 at Crawford Lake Cemetery.
