Robert Wayne Trouille, age 68, of Jennings, FL. passed away on his birthday, March 19, 2023.

Wayne was born March 19, 1955 in Folkston, GA to the late Wallace and Bobbie Louise Griffin Trouille. He was one of eight children, a family of four boys and four girls. The family moved from Hilliard to Jennings when Wayne was five years old. The first family the Trouille's met was the Sauls family who happened to have a little boy named "Jackey" with whom he made hard and fast friends with. Following a hunting accident that caused Wayne to lose his arm, he went on to prove just how tough he was. He worked as hard in the logging woods than most men with two arms worked. From an early age, Wayne loved to play pranks and was a jokester. He loved Nascar and Dale Earnhardt and he and his buddy Jackey went to Daytona to watch ole Dale race a time or two. He liked to ride on the beach and ride the woods. He proved himself capable of doing most anything. Wayne got to be good friends with Wayne Bradshaw and would help him with his cows and Wayne would help Wayne when needed. Wayne enjoyed seafood and paying compliments to pretty women. He went to live at the nursing home in Jasper and being one of the younger set, Wayne would often watch out for some of the other residents and would alert the staff when someone was in a bind and needed help. For convenience sake, at some point he started going next door on Sunday to the Advent Christian Church and re-dedicated his life to the Lord. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and three of his sisters, Betty "Peggy" Louise Vickery, Theresa Faye Trouille and Annette Tubbs.

Survivors include his son, Ashlyn Brady and his wife Anna of Baxley, GA.; his three brothers, Cecil "Pete" Trouille (Carol), Jerold "Jerry" Trouille (Sandra) and Wally Bailey (Carolyn); his only living sister, Lynnette Keene (Robert); 12 living nephews and nieces; two living aunts, Jeanette Musgrove and Linda Johns; and his best friend, Jackey Sauls, and his family that he graciously shared with Wayne.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the Jasper Advent Christian Church in Jasper, FL.

Interment followed at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
