Ray Maxie Register, Sr. age 85, of Lake Park, GA passed away Monday, June 15, 2020 at Suwannee Valley Nursing Center following an illness of some time.

Ray was born on January 28, 1935 in Echols County, Georgia to the late Tinnian and Lillie Sauls Register. He was a certified welder working for a number of companies including Langdale and Pro Core before retiring. Ray was married to the love of his life Jacqueline Ella Deas Register until her passing in April of 2015. They attended West Lake Church of God. Ray never really got over the death of Jacqueline and so it was truly a release of his soul at 11:35 a.m. on Monday when he was able to join her in heaven.

Survivors include his daughter, Angela Eriks and her husband Brad of Lake Park, GA.; his son, Ray Register, Jr. and his wife Sarah of White Springs, FL.; one special granddaughter, Jennifer Long and several other grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In keeping with Ray's specific wishes, a private burial was held on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at West Lake Church of God.
