Reba Waunell McCall, age 83, of Jasper, FL. passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Shands Hospitial in Live Oak, FL. Mrs. McCall was born in Arabi, Georgia to the late Floyd and Nellie Bennett Mathis. She was loved by her children, grandchildren, brothers,sisters, nieces and nephews for the love and care she provided for them over the years. She was loved and will always be remembered by her community as one of the "sisters" and one of the best cooks in the county. Everyone knew if the McCall sisters were working, you could get a good meal. Mrs. Waunell was a member of Divonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, P.D. McCall, a brother, Charlie Mathis and a sister, Theaster Raines.

Survivors include two daughters, Martha Faye Herndon and Debra Johnson, both of Jasper, FL.; one brother, Emmett Mathis, Jasper; one sister, Lafayette McCall, Jasper, FL.; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, October 16 at Divonia Baptist Church near Jasper. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery.
