Rebecca Carol "Becky" Johnson, age 56, of Dasher, GA. went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA. Becky was born in Live Oak, FL. on December 3, 1960 to Jack and Janice Fletcher Hester. Becky met her husband and best friend, Jack, in 1994 and they married in 2001. Becky was loved by many and befriended by all, as she never met a stranger. Preceded in death by her father, Jack Hester, grandmother, Jeanette Jestes and Mabel "Grandma Johnson".

Survivors include her husband, Jack E. Johnson, Jr.; one son, Jack Johnson III (Laynee) of Valdosta, GA.; two daughters, Ashlie Simmons (Justin) of Brunswick, GA. and Amie Johnson (Luis) of Jacksonville, FL.; her mother, Janice Hester of Lake Park, GA.; sisters, Faye Rackleff (Bob) of Charlotte, N.C., and Jackie Miller (Drew) of Valdosta, GA.; her father-in-law and mother-in-law who loved her like a daughter, Jack and June Johnson of Valdosta, GA.; seven grandchildren, Kristien, Aiden, Callie, Parker, Ava, Gunner and Baby Jack. Niece and nephew Dustin and Jennifer Miller; and her uncle and aunt, Larry and Terri Fletcher.

Funeral services were held  Monday, December 26, 2016 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper, FL. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper.
