Rhonda Rogers Lewis, 59, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2026, at HCA Florida Capital Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida, surrounded by her loving family.
Rhonda was born on March 19, 1967, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Arnold Rogers and Bernice Collier.
Rhonda had a love for arts and crafts, especially spending time creating things with her granddaughter, Kassidy. She had a special place in her heart for animals and, at one point in her life, even had a mini zoo of her own. She especially loved big cats and zoo animals and spent 10 years working as a veterinary technician at Live Oak Animal Clinic. Rhonda also enjoyed flowers and gardening, country music, and attending the Suwannee River Jam. She was an outgoing person who loved being around others whenever her health allowed. Above all, Rhonda loved her family more than anything.
Rhonda was married to her beloved husband, Donnie Lewis, for 30 years. She loved him and her children dearly, and her family was the most important part of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold Rogers and Bernice Collier; her son, Tyler Rogers; and her father-in-law, Wayne Lewis.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Donnie Lewis; her children, Tayler Rogers (Kenny) and D.W. Lewis (Shelby); her granddaughter, Kassidy Sammons; her mother-in-law, Eula Lewis; her brother, Ronald Rogers; and her sister-in-law, Karen Lewis.
