Richard "Dale" Collins, 63, passed away November 22, 2024, in Jacksonville, FL, after a brief illness. Dale was born on October 29, 1961, in Miami, FL, and spent his formative years in Jasper, FL, before making Jacksonville his home.

Dale had an enduring love for cars, both racing them and working on them, a hobby that reflected his meticulous nature and adventurous spirit. He also had a deep affection for animals, always ready to offer care and companionship. Known for his kindness and generosity, Dale touched the lives of many, leaving behind cherished memories for all who knew him.

Dale is survived by two brothers, Dwayne Collins (Marsha) and William Collins (Gerry), his sister, Karen Whatley (Charlie), and several nieces, nephews, and great-nephews, who will forever remember his warm smile and caring heart. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Sparks, of Jasper, FL.

Dale's family will honor his life and legacy at a memorial service to be held at a later date. He will be deeply missed.
