Richmond Eugene Boggs, Jr., age 54, of Jasper, FL. passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. following a brief illness. Mr. Boggs was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Richmond and Bonnie Jean Boggs. He was a longtime resident of Atlanta before moving to Jasper three years ago to live with his daughter.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Alison and Donald Crutchfield of Jasper, FL.; one son, Richmond E. "Bo" Boggs, III of Atlanta, GA; three granddaughters, Holly, Abigail Grace and Mary-Caroline Crutchfield.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper, FL.
Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Baptist Church Youth Fund.
