Ricky McDaniel, age 56, of Jasper, FL. passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Suwannee Valley Nursing Center in Jasper following an illness of some time. The Hamilton County native and lifelong resident was a retired sandblaster-painter in the construction industry. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.L. McDaniel and Jewell Dean Odom McDaniel.
Survivors include one son, Roy Carmichael (Victoria), Lake Park, GA.; two brothers, Ronnie McDaniel (Jean) and Jerry McDaniel, all of Jasper; two sisters, Cindy McDaniel Richards (Dale), Lake City, FL. and Tanya McDaniel Fontaine (Michael), Lake Park, GA.; nieces and nephews, Sheree McDaniel, Amanda Richards, Michaela Fontaine, Gerald and John McDaniel, Justin, Travis and Joe Richards and Dillon Wynn.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 13 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Barrs officiating. Interment followed at Hebron Cemetery.
